FATİH SERDAROĞLU

Born in Eskisehir, on 1977, Fatih Serdaroglu started tattooing in 1997. After graduating from Afyon Kocatepe University, where he studied financial accounting, he attended Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey, where he received an undergraduate degree in business & management. In 2008, he opened the first tattoo parlour in Eskisehir with the name “Deveninnalı Tattoo & Piercing”. He also has worked in Kusadasi and Bodrum.

His first book named “Art of Tattoo in Turkey” is published in 2005, from Anabasis Editions. On August 2007, he finished writing his second book. For this book, he travelled to southeast of Turkey to make a research on tattoo art in Turkey and in the book, he used the photos he had taken.

In 2008, apart from being a consultant for a documentary about tattoos, Fatih published a book with the name “Tattoo Education”. Since then he offers trainings using this book as a course syllabus. By his realistic portrait of Ataturk, he won the first prize in 1st Professional Tattoo Convention of Turkey, in 2009.

Since 2008, he is working on medical tattoos including scalp micropigmentation, camouflage of scars. In 2011, he was the consultant of the documentary released by German channel SWR with cooperation of ARD.

“Tattoo Book” is published in 2013. This is the first book about scalp micropigmentation and medical tattoos in the world. All the photos in the book are taken by Fatih, who is also a photo artist.

In 2013, he received invitations from 7th International Moscow Tattoo Convention and 23. Tattoo Convention Berlin 2013. He is still receiving invitations for attending events about tattoos from many European countries. Having tattooed many celebrities in Turkey, Fatih became a famous tattoo artist.
